WSOP Europe BLOG thank you

dsc00497
Well my bad streak is still 100% intact. I was fun playing @ one of the ESPN featured tables. I love Mike M , Andy B and Peter. Of course I was crippled with a set of 99’s vs a set of AA’s. d I left London without a cash. I was very disappointed.

I did have the best time I’ve ever had in London EVER. My BFF Jasen came with me. I experienced London through the eyes of a gay man. It was insane. I was on Compton street in every gay bar imaginable. I think it is insanely unfair how hot so many of these gay men are.

So, I should be upset. Still no cash. What a year personally. Then, I had a guy fly to London to take me out to dinner. Wow what a compliment. I’m back to the adage, no one has everything in life. I have a big smile.

FASHION WEEK

Fashion week is insane. I’m having such a good time I don’t know where to start.

September 9th I attended the Anna Sui event. There were live model’s posing. My highlight of the evening was MTV interviewing me about the song Poker Face.

Did I know it was about Lesbian’s?

September 10th was Fashion Night Out.
My first stop was @ the Kiehls Boutique. It was hosted by Emmanuelle Chriqui. She was nice , beautiful and loves poker!!!!

My next stop was the Purple Lab @ Scoop Party hosted by Veronica Varlow. There was an awesome D.J. It was a great event.

I crossed the street and headed into Alexander McQueen. I love Alexander McQueen. Their shoes, clothes! WOW!

My last stop for the evening was the @ Barney’s. The party was hosted by the Olsen twin’s.

September 11th I attended a cool event from the Byron and Tracey salon in LA. They did my hair and makeup. It was so much fun!

My evening started out with the Alejandro Ingelmo 2010 collection shoe event. The event was in the Showtime decorator show house. The loft was decorated form numerous different Showtime show’s.

September 13th I attended the Stepping Out In Italian Shoes Event hosted by Jamie Lynn Sigler. The VMA’s were amazing. How about what Kanye said!
I attended the Calvin Klein/Crush Management Angeles N King’s Party Hosted by Pete Wentz. It was @ his bar!! Great evening all around. Beyonce even had my shoe’s on.

September 15th I attended the Coco Perez event. This was the winner so far. It was @ a great venue. The music was insane!!! There was the most talented violinist I have ever seen. I wish I had Perez’s entire speech filmed. I only caught part of it. He was sooo funny.

My last event is the Hermes/Vanity Fair. I’m really looking forward to it. I must say I’m exhausted.

I’m going to regroup after this. I’m excited for the WSOP Europe. POKER TIME!!!!!!

Busy projects - playin’ poker

Life has been great. I’ve been so busy where do I start?

I have been working on a few different projects. The problem is all the meetings are so time consuming. Then ultimately deciding what I really want to go forward with. There are day’s that my manager had me scheduled form early A.M. until evening. How can I possibly have a social life?

I just played a few FTOPS events. One there was over 5k in peeps. I went put around 720. I lost half my chips AQ to 2 9 off suit. The typical poker story. From there it was down hill. In the main event I played 4-5 hours. I was doing well then got short. I slow rolled my KK into a A. So life goes.

I had an awesome photo shoot in NYC. I’ve only seen 3 pics. I’m excited to see the rest.

When I get back from L.A. I’m all ramped up for fashion week @ Bryant Park. I love seeing all the new collections! What a scene. I’ll keep you posted.

I’m now getting my act together to head to L.A. I’m excited to play the Bike…I still love poker…It just doesn’t love me right now.

WSOP and Playboy Mansion

This years WSOP was definitely one I would not like to remember. I was very disappointed to have 3 straight years of cashes then zero. I bubbled in one event, I almost didn’t play the hand, I did have the attitude I’m hear to win not just cash. Then in a few events I put in 10- 12 hour days I think I only played 6 events this year.

The one exciting thing about losing was leaving Las Vegas and heading to LA. I love it here. The weather is just perfection to me. My manger has kept me fairly busy with multiple meetings. Then I had the event @ the Playboy Mansion.

What a great evening. Beautiful women, hot men and poker. The painted naked women were awesome. The poker ones were my favorite.. Matt Savage did a great job as usual. I went about somewhere around 40th 55 me JJ him we were 4 handed. I’m not sure how much was raised but I was sitting next to a firefighter @ my table. The money was for LA firefighters and their families. One thing I love about charity events is it just doesn’t”t matter.

I have a GREAT event I’m co-hosting next weekend. Stay tuned. <3

Heading Back to Vegas

Finally , I’m heading back to Las Vegas. I can’t wait to play in the WSOP again. My kids leave for the summer. I just don’t have it in me to leave them for the entire WSOP straight through. A few years ago the series was later it worked much better for me.

I had ALOT to handle @ home on the personal side anyway. Hopefully. I will have a clearer head. That always helps in poker.

New York was great yesterday. The Rolling Stones Party hosted by Pete Wentz n Ashlee Simpson was the best one yet. Great kewl peeps. I LUV music so it was SO up my alley.

I’m packing two MEGA suitcases and not planning on coming home for a while as my kids are gone : ( .

WSOP 2009

The plane flight was great. Things started off well. I sat next to an author of cookbooks that I own. He was reading “Bluff” it was too funny. I guess we each knew each other.

The adrenaline of being back @ the WSOP id the best. It’s ALMOST like no other feeling. My first event was #11 the 2K nl. I went deep but didn’t cash.
My second event #13 2500 I bubbled. I mean bubbled. 118 when 117 was the money. I was all in on the turn with a flush and he called me with 2 pair. He rivered a full house. I was playing to win.

The ladies event is always challenging. There are alot of women that don’t have the betting down. They will also call you can’t easily get them off of a hand. I lost half my stack calling the short stack @ my table who kept pushing. I had AQ she had AK. My last hand was A 10 vs her J 6 she rivered a straight.

I have also already lost a 5k bet to Joe Sebok. His girlfriend knew Dan and I were no longer together. What guy doesn’t talk to his girl? He took a lie detector test and PASSED

I must say he was very nervous and it was hysterical! I guess I’m dressing up at the Main Event ( if he makes me)

The 2500 6 handed went very quickly. I actually have business meetings in NYC and will be back in a few weeks after my kids leave for overnight camp.

Wait until you see these pics of Joe!

YRB + WSOP

I was asked to attend the YRB photo shot in New York. They were photographing a wide variety of men and women, and it should be fun to see how the final pictures come out. It was a crazy day with mix of “hip hop” and celebs.

There was a array of clothes to pick from, but I chose to wear my own clothes, and it seemed that the other women that were there did as well. The men were digging in the rack!

The evening followed up with a red carpet event for Busta Rhymes new album release, and it was a very interesting party. The venue was located right next door to Scores. I’m sure half the party left and headed there!

I’m back home and finishing up some important things before heading for the WSOP,YES!9322364

Celebrity Apprentice Finale

What can I say? I really went into last evening assuming Annie was going to win. I knew that she had raised substantially more money than Joan, and in my opinion played the ” game” to a far superior level. As I said to Hollywood Dave and Andy, just like poker it’s not always fair. Rafe First (another Full Tilt Pro) was 100% sure she was going to win. We should have known something wasn’t right when most of the audience was rooting for Joan. I later found out that Annie was given significantly less tickets. Not really fair.
The after party was a ball even though everyone on “Annie’s team” was still in shock. It was so cool meeting “Detail” he wrote the song Poker Face.
Tom Green was also insanely funny. I’m sorry she didn’t win but I felt she handled herself well. Good Job Annie!

The Kentucky Derby

My friend and I headed to the Kentucky Derby, and flying out of Philadelphia is always a chore in itself. There was minor “weather” that immediately means the flight is delayed. After 45 minutes on the runway the flight attendant announces that the plane is heading back to the gate. The 2nd flight attendant had a panic attack. The last plane she was on was hit by lighting so they took the plane back to the gate where we waited another 20 minutes until they opened the door and had a replacement attendant.

Only in Philadelphia.

The treatment we were given @ the Derby was INSANE. Only Phil is all I’ll say. I was picked up @ the airport with my hotel keys in hand. Bags were already shipped prior and in my room. Heidi and I unpacked grabbed a quick bite and chilled at bit. We needed it. I had no idea the weekend that was ahead of us.
Friday night walked the red carpet and attended the Mint Jubilee, Kim Kardashian’s party @ Glassworks , Paris Hilton’s party @ Prime… I called it a night after that as the rest of the group went to White Castle for burgers.

Saturday we attended Kentucky Derby. Phil of course had a stretch hummer limo that had police escorts. The red carpet was cool. Kid Rock, Joey Fatone etc…
A great experience but a looooong day. We couldn’t pull it together to go to Al Capone’s Room with Phil’s group . After resting for a bit, we motivated just in time to meet Robert and Kate. We had a private “Rock Star” party, then hit Proof for dinner @ 12 . We headed back to the hotel by 2:30….not quite done a few more drinks then we crashed…….

The next day the flight into Philadelphia was delayed…. of course….

Home games and tattoos

After the WPT I flew to LA to visit friends. I had a few days of “R & R.” It’s easy to see how anyone can fall in love with the life style there as the WEATHER alone is the best I have ever enjoyed anywhere.

I got invited to a few home cash games and couldn’t believe how much differently they were run than in New York. It’s much more of a ” business” in LA for the people running the games but I got to meet some cool local pros. As everyone is razzing me about getting a tattoo, ( I’m still not 100%) I met a really cool woman with the most insane tattoos I’ve ever seen…Now on my way home and repacking for the Kentucky Derby
