Come November 6th thru 14th 2010, a smattering of the world’s finest poker stars will be staring one another down in a Texas Hold’em contest of note.

The APT 2010 Macau is here and it’s one of the most anticipated events of the poker calendar. Macau is renowned for its glitzy casinos and vibrant night life. With the City of Dreams casino playing host to this illustrious contest, players are in for a real treat. The Main Event buy-in costs around $4,180 + $320. And with collaboration from the Hard Rock Hotel, this contest is shaping up to be a beauty.

The prize money is rumored to be over $1 million dollars and the winner is expected to walk away with a mega-chunk of the pie. Top contenders include:
Sae Jin Lee (Korea), Brice Gabriel Renaud (France), Elton Tsang (Hong Kong), Jeon Seung Soo (Korea) and John Hoang of the USA. For all we know, the safe money could be riding on the outsiders.
