Dream Team Poker Comes to the Bike
- Paul Oresteen | December 17, 2009
Dream Team poker, the newest and most popular tournament format, is coming to the Bicycle Casino this Saturday, December 19th at 2 p.m. for the Dream Team Poker Ho Ho Hold’em tournament. For only $67 per person players will have a chance to compete in the unique Dream Team format – where teams of three compete together against other teams. In addition to the prize pool tournament organizers have added four Super Bowl tickets, three for the winning team and one for the individual winner.
In addition to the tickets and prize pool, there is $500 cash for each winning team member and the individual winner. There are three players per team, but don’t worry, if you don’t have a team the tournament organizers will pair you up. It’s completely open to the public at a cost of $201 per team.
Players will have a 25k starting stack, with blinds starting at 50-100 and 30 minute levels. Eleven time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth has already announced that he will also be playing the event. No word if he’s bringing his own team, so you may have the chance to play on Team Hellmuth if you show up early. See you at the Bike.
