My first week of this challenge
- Soren Kongsgaard | March 6, 2009
The first week of this interesting challenge is over.
I started out grinding $10 sngs the first days. I build it up to a bit over $300, but I took some shots at $20 sngs and $10r and $30 tourneys and at some point I was under $100.
My plan going into this months was to grind out some SnGs to build bankroll for as many MTTs as possible.
I ám not cable to grind several hundred sngs a day, and win the challenge this way, so I have to shot the MTTs where I know I got a huge edge, and a chance of cashing big.
Next week I will be playing EPT Dortmund and after this I will go to Cyprus for a week which hurts my chance of doing well in this challenge.
The first week I have been doing quite well in the MTTs. I FT bubbled a $20k Guaranteed with more than $4000 for the winner. I took a small bad beat in a huge pot, but whatever.
I have been quite deep in $5 and $10 rebuy tourneys, but I have not been able to close any of them, and I have cashed $100-$200 dollars in them.
Right now my balance is approx $200 + I got tickets for the $109 tourney tonight and the 100k gtd this sunday.
My next goal is to qualify for the $250k gtd and the other $100k gtd. Cashing big in one of these tourneys will hopefully be enough to win the challenge and I feel very confident I will be able to do so.
Back to grinding, GL all.
