Hey everyone, this is the first blog I’ve ever done so bear with me here. I’m just coming off a profitable WSOP highlighted with a 12th place finish in the main event and a 2nd place finish in the $1500 Razz event. Both tournaments were very exciting for me and are my 2 biggest scores to date. I left Vegas feeling a little bittersweet after coming so close to a bracelet and the main event final table. Still, I am very grateful that I was able to run good enough to even put me in a position to contend for 2 bracelets. Since WSOP, I haven’t been playing much online at all; I think I just needed a long break. I plan to get back into the grind this week, even though my version of a grind is much less volume than most of the online pros. I’m looking forward to my first live tourney since the main event this weekend; there is a $2K deepstack tourney at Borgata. Last time they held this tourney they got over 800 runners and I pure bubbled the final table, haha, so maybe this time I can get there. After that, I wouldn’t mind actually going deep in an FTOPS or WCOOP event, which I haven’t had much success at all in the past with.
Since getting back from Vegas, I had to move out of my apartment in beautiful Camden, NJ and am now living by Atlantic City for the time until I find my own place. It kinda sucks around here because most of my friends live around Philly, so I’m hoping to buy something around there before the end of the year. In other news, I have been challenged by Joe “hoodini10″ Udine to a tennis match this week-still haven’t decided on a wager yet. It should a lot of fun to put him in his place. Other than that, I’m going to the Jack Johnson concert this week with a bunch of friends. I’m not really that big a fan but concerts in the summer are always a lot of fun. I plan on living up to my name of SLOPPY KLOD at the tailgates, haha.
Other Stuff: Congrats to mman_status for winning the 109r last Sunday and the 55r this past Sunday for over 100K total. I played Wii for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing so I’m gonna splurge and buy myself one. Downloaded the new Nas album last week and it’s better than I expected. I predict I will win 1 tournament this month.
That’s all for now.
