Like living in Aspen

I just moved to my new apartment which is located in my dream area in Stockholm. There are more fancy areas and def more expensive ones but for me this is perfect. Many of my friends lives here and so does loads of poker players. It’s surrounded by water which makes it really nice views. I have a 16 square meter terrace and a bathtub (the bathtub I’ve missed since I moved to my old apt).

Today I realized something which I hadn’t counted in to all the plus things moving here. It’s the face that it’s like 200 meters to “Hammarbybacken” which is a ski-slope. This make my area really busy with people walking around in skii-boots and with snowboards under their arms. Specially today. Even at the hamburger restaurant which is in my building they walked in dressed up for a day in the mountain ;) Since skiing has been a passion of mine since I was foour years old this feels like home even more. It really felt like being in Aspen or some other ski resort.

The only negative stuff so far has been that the radiators in my apartment doesn’t work. With minus 20 degrees outside it gets really cold. Tried to warm it up tonight with loads of candles but they won’t work forever and the buy who came late tonight didn’t know how to fix it so he’s coming back later (I’m really tired any trying to stay up).

If I will manage bo unpack all the boxes that are left tomorrow I will play some poker online. Really looking forward to it but all the practical stuff comes first. On Monday my friend Cecilia comes here from Gothenburg. She’s also a poker player so hopefully we’ll have some time to visit Krukan (the poker club) to win some money. If not we will probably have a great time anyway. Really looking forward to see her.
