Bodog Poker Results No Longer Being Collected

Bodog’s latest software update introduced some pretty radical changes to their poker client. A significant feature included as part of this update is what they are referring to as “all-site anonymous tables,” which basically means that they no longer shows player’s screen names. All players are now simply numbers at the table (player001, player002, etc.). In a press release, Bodog stated, “This feature stops poker pros accessing any data on how you play your game via the use of HUDs and other data mining sites.” We apologize for the obvious inconvenience that this will cause you, but until Bodog reverses this feature, we will temporarily halt all Bodog tournament data gathering.

AP/UB Missing Tournament Results

Our feed was having issues, and we are missing a few results from AP/UB from the 9th through the 20th of January. We’ve made the request to AP directly, and we expect to have the data inserted within the week. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause for you.

Missing Full Tilt Data Filled From March 21-24

Thepokerdb experienced a four-day gap of missing results from Full Tilt from March 21-24. None of the data was lost as we have a back up system in place in the instance of occurrence like this. Today, April 1, we have completed the backfill of the missing data. All of the missing data was filled successfully.

Should you have any Full Tilt results still missing from that period, please send an email to support at thepokerdb@bluffmedia.com. Please include your Full Tilt screenname, the tournament ID, and the date the tournament took place.

Thepokerdb Upgrades and Big Things On the Horizon

Thepokerdb has been taking steps to ensure players not only get all of their data, but get it faster than ever. Over the next several weeks we will be rolling out updates and improvements in the way we deliver data. We have some big plans in 2010 to improve the overall efficiency and user interface, as well as, bring you exciting new tools and features.

To begin, all PartyPoker and Bodog results are now being displayed in real time. This includes all of Party Poker’s MTT S&Gs. No longer will you have to wait 24 hours to see your results posted to your profile. It’s our goal to display real time results for all of the networks we support.

We had experienced whole days of missing data from CEREUS and PokerStars due to a bug in our system. We have identified and eliminated the bug causing these gaps. The missing data has been filled and please report any missing tournaments to the support team at thepokerdb@bluffmedia.com

Also, the highly popular 180, 90, and 45 person MTT S&Gs at PokerStars are no longer included in our results feed. However, we still have a system to capture these results. Please send an email to support that specifies you have a PokerStars MTT S&G result and the tournament ID in the body of the email. You will receive a reply email with a link to tournament results.

To improve the functionality and add new features to thepokerdb we have added additional staff. We have some big plans in store for some new features to thepokerdb in 2010. We are more excited than ever and believe that thepokerdb will again be the industry standard in MTT data tracking.

FullTilt Missing Tournaments

We discovered a glitch in the FullTilt importer that caused us to be missing a few select tournaments over past few months. In total, we were missing about 200 tournaments, and they have now been inserted into the database.

AP/UB Tournament Results

Our feed from AP/UB has been unreliable over the past couple months. We’ve been in contact with them, and the issue has been resolved. However, there are still results missing from this time frame. We are working with them to obtain a back-fill of the missing tournament results. Please be patient as we work through this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thanks for the support.

Full Tilt Poker update

We apologize for the continued delay getting Full Tilt Poker collection back up and running. We anticipate having a complete data set for the month of July once we implement our new collection system. All missing tournaments should be restored. We hope to have everything up and running this week but it is possible that the delay will stretch into early next week. We’ll post here with more updates once we have more information.

As we’ve already stated, we will adjust subscriptions to compensate for the downtime. Thank you for understanding.

Full Tilt Poker (continued)…

We’ll have the Full Tilt feed re-established within the next couple days. Once we have this done, we’re going to go ahead and extend all db subscriptions by an extra 2 weeks to accomodate for the gap. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Full Tilt Poker

Hi all, we’ve temporarily suspended collection of Full Tilt Poker tournaments due to a software update. We are working to restore our data collection as soon as possible but there will be downtime due to the unfortunate timing of the update. At this point, we are unsure how many tournaments will be missed however we are going to try to keep it to a minimum. Unless Full Tilt is willing to cooperate with BLUFF on this issue, we will have permanently missing data from the db.

We’ll post here again as we know more.

PokerStars 180 Person SNG’s

PokerStars recently changed the results display of the 180-person and 90-person SNG’s. Players that did not participate in the tournament can no longer view the results. Instead of listing the players in the result box, they display the following message, “Additional tournament information is available to the tournament participants only.” This has altogether eliminated our ability to collect the data for these tournaments. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please forward your complaints to support@pokerstars.com.
